Rating System

how I rate books:

I use the standard 1-5 star system including half stars. Typically, I look at the plot, characters, and writing specifically and break those things down in my reviews. Other things I take into account are: vibes/tone/ambiance, pacing, structure, diversity and representation, and style. I do not rate books that I DNF, but I do talk about them on my socials so if you’re interested in those kinds of takes, you should follow me!
