I’m currently accepting review and collaboration requests.
Please take a minute to through my review policy below and email me if you think I’d be a good fit for your work!
review policy:
Genres I read: young adult, middle grade, mystery, romance, science fiction, fantasy, romantasy, contemporary, thriller
Genres I do not read: non-fiction, religious, self-help, erotica, memoirs, picture books
I will gladly read ARCS, galleys, finished copies, and/or audiobooks in print, e-book, or audio format. E-books must be in .pub or .mobi formats. I am also a member of Edelweiss and NetGalley and am happy to receive copies through those platforms.
If I accept your book, please understand that I likely have committed to read and review other books so I appreciate having a specific date or time frame you’d like me to post the review. If you don’t have a preference, I will post the review when I have an open spot in my calendar. I try my best to post a review around the book’s release date (unless you’ve requested otherwise), but that may not always be possible. If your book is out already, I will review it as soon as I can. Thank you in advance for your patience!
I reserve the right to not finish your book. If this happens I will e-mail you and let you know. I will not rate or review it. I typically don’t rate or review books I don’t finish since I feel it’s unfair to review a book I haven’t fully read. I may, however, mention why I did not finish on my blog or other social media sites. That being said, I don’t always love everything I read. My reviews do reflect my honest opinions, and may or may not contain negative/critical comments about your book. Providing a free copy of your book will not automatically get you a better/positive review.
Some other things I am open to doing besides reviews are:
- author interviews
- cover reveals
- giveaways
- other promotional material such as playlists, social media posts, creative spotlights
When e-mailing me your request, please include: book summary, title, publisher, genre, release date, and preferred review post date (if you have one). Any links to further materials (such as cover, press kit, reviews, blurbs, etc.) would be appreciated should you have them. If your book has specific trigger/content warnings, please provide those as well. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
Plagiarism Policy:
Quotes from my reviews or posts may be used by authors, publishers, publicists, and anyone else involved with the ownership, production, or promotion of the book in question. I do ask that you please credit me by name (Diana) and my blog’s name (The Unlibrary). Anything else is considered plagiarism. Do not repost or copy and paste my content to your blog. Moreover, do not take my post and change some of the wording and turn around and claim it as your own. That’s still plagiarism.

Social Media Sharing:
Each of my blog posts has social media icons embedded (using a GDPR compliant plug-in that does not track your data) for your convenience. The Facebook widget may collect your IP address, your web browser User Agent, store and retrieve cookies on your browser, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with the widget, including correlating your Facebook account with whatever action you take within the widget (such as “liking/sharing/recommending” a post), if you are logged in to Facebook. For more information about how this data may be used, please see Facebook’s data privacy policy. The X widget makes requests to X’s servers for you to be able to tweet my posts using your X account. These requests make your IP address visible to X, who may use it in accordance with their data privacy policy. The Pinterest Save widget allows you to pin images to Pinterest from my posts. These requests may track your IP address in accordance with their data privacy policy. The LinkedIn post widget allows you to send my posts to LinkedIn using your LinkedIn account.
